Bring your own item to work on and make fiber friends! Join Us This First Friday for an Evening of Mending! Join us on Friday, September 4th for a fun, hands‑on mending session. Our skilled instructors will be in-studio to offer guidance on refreshing, repairing, and bringing new life to your well‑loved items. Please bring a piece of clothing or a textile you’d like to mend or decorate. You’ll be able to explore different approaches, techniques, and skills while working on your own project. This free session is open to all—come enjoy slow crafting and creative camaraderie. If you’d like instructor guidance, it’s first come, first served. Simply arrive, sign in, and wait your turn for assistance. The studio will be open for mending from 4–7pm. Note: Instructors will not mend items for you—they are here to provide support, ideas, and direction. This event takes place during our regular First Friday Open Studio. Please RSVP so we can plan materials and supplies. If the session appears full online, you are still welcome to attend and join in; just know that instructor help is first come, first served. We look forward to mending with you! All children must be accompanied by an adult or guardian to participate. We’re grateful for the generous support of the G.A.
