President & Founder: Steffanie Dotson

Woodworker, San Diego State University (SDSU) graduate, and mother of two. She served as Board Trustee, then President of The Furniture Society, a 501c3 organization from 2010 to 2016. For her contributions to this organization during her tenure, The Furniture Society created a permanent award in her name, the Steffi Dotson Service Award, of which she was the inaugural recipient in 2018. Steffanie has taught classes at Palomar College in San Marcos, served as guest speaker for various organizations on her work as well as the subject of craft. She is an advocate for craft and the arts and currently serves on the board of the Sam & Alfreda Maloof Foundation and is a SDSU Art Council Ambassador.

Treasurer: Alejandro Holcman

Alejandro is currently a Senior Vice-President of Engineering at Qualcomm. Alejandro has previously served on the board of Media Arts Center San Diego and the Engineering Advisory Board of the University of San Diego. He currently serves as Executive Sponsor for the LatinQ organization at Qualcomm, Inc. Alejandro holds a BS Electrical Engineering from University of Illinois, and a MS Computer Science from Australian Telecommunications Research Institute.

Secretary: Mazen Chmaytelli

Mazen is currently a Senior Director, Business Development for Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. Over the past 20+ years, he has had leadership roles spanning technical marketing, product management and global business development. Mazen is currently serves as the MulteFire Alliance President, a 501c3 organization holding responsibility for the overall functions and management of the global ecosystem and operations to support development of MulteFire technical specifications, certification programs, and coordination with related industry groups and regulators. Mazen served as a Board Member for the CBRS Alliance. He is a registered professional engineer in the State of California, a Senior IEEE member, a registered attorney with the California Bar, and a registered patent attorney with the USPTO. As an inventor, he holds 40 USPTO granted patents covering a range of telecommunications and software inventions. Mazen has a B.S. and an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California – Los Angeles (UCLA) and holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law.

Director: Daniel Agre

Dan is a retired engineer, having spent more than 30 years in the wireless industry, and has more than 20 U.S. and worldwide patents. Dan was the Senior Vice President of corporate engineering from 2001 to 2014. Dan has served in several community associations boards. He currently enjoys retirement with his wife, is an avid pilot, and spends his time flying his plane around the country.

Director: Joseph Seckelman

Mr. Seckelman runs a law firm that concentrates on all aspects of Federal and State Taxation law, Corporation and Business law. Joe has been a member of the California Bar since 1979, is a member of the Ninth and Seventh Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. Tax Court, the Federal District Court for Southern California. He has a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois and a Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California. He was a real estate broker in the Chicago, Illinois suburbs and is a licensed California Real Estate Broker. Mr. Seckelman was a former staff editor for Commerce Clearance House in Chicago, Illinois at C.C.H’s Standard Federal Tax Reporter. Mr. Seckelman has been an adjunct professor at Western State University School of Law teaching Taxation Law. He is a member of the State Bar of California Taxation, Business Law, and Estate Planning Committees.
