Bonjour! Welcome to our fragrant adventure! No experience necessary – just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm. Join us in crafting your very own signature scent under the guidance of our in-house French Perfume Designer, Jil Croquet.

This workshop is an enjoyable three-hour session where you’ll dive into the art of perfume-making. From uncovering composition secrets to the sheer joy of smelling and blending scents, you’ll gain hands-on experience while learning the basics of fragrance design techniques.

All the materials and tools you need are provided and included in the workshop fee. With a carefully curated selection of essential oils, we’ll explore this hidden world together. You’ll leave with your own personalized travel spray as a delightful keepsake of our aromatic journey. Come, let’s discover the captivating world of perfumery!

This workshop is perfect for ages 14 and up, so grab a friend or come solo and let’s create some magic together!
All materials and tools will be provided, and the cost of materials is included in the workshop fee.

Perfume Making | Create Your Own Signature Fragrance with a French Perfumer

This course will be held indoors, so we suggest:
• Dress in layers so you can adjust to the studio temperature.
• Bring water/beverage and a snack if you need to be comfortable.
• Wear comfortable clothes.

DIRECTIONS: Located in Liberty Station’s Arts District, you can find our studio at the end of the hallway on the 1st floor of the Dorothea Laub Music & Arts Center (Bldg 176) at the corner of Roosevelt & Truxtun, next to The Lot movie theater. There is plenty of free parking. Parking Lot Q is behind our studio — enter via the driveway off Dewey. Across the street in the Vons parking lot, it is also free. If you can’t find us, call or text 619.273.3235.

CLASS SIZE: 4 min. If the minimum is not met, you will receive a full refund or credit toward another class.

REFUNDS: No refunds for tardiness or no-shows. For a refund (minus a 5% processing fee), you must cancel 7 days before the start of the class. After 7 days, we cannot offer refunds, as materials and supplies have already been purchased.

TRANSFERS: You may transfer your enrollment spot to someone else, but transfers must happen before the workshop begins. Please email us to let us know who’s coming.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Bonjour, I’m Jil Croquet, a Perfume Designer from France. My lifelong passion for perfumery led me to establish my fragrance collection, “Jil CROQUET Parfum” here in San Diego, CA when I moved to America in 2018. I gained recognition as a 2022 Award Finalist for one of my captivating scents, Great Wall Valley. I create bespoke fragrances, host Perfume Parties, and participate in various craft events. You can explore my boutique, a go-to destination for perfume lovers. Join me on this fragrant journey!

    This is a fun, educational, and unique experience. Jil is extremely knowledgable and has a great way of explaining the concepts of building a perfume. At first I was intimidated to start mixing but Jil makes it accessible and creative. Highly recommend.
