Our Learn to Knit Class teaches the basics of knitting to get you started on your first project. If you have never knit before or you want to come back to knitting and need a refresher course, this class is for you. The beginner knitting class will cover cast on, knit stitch, and bind off. We will start a pair of fingerless mitts during class to be finished on your own time.

The class fee includes one skein of yarn, a pair of needles, and a pattern. This class is held in-person at Apricot Yarn & Supply, co-host of Fiber Fest. Apricot Yarn & Supply is located in Liberty Station in Barracks 19, 2690 Historic Decatur Rd, Suite 101. NOTE: This class is not held at San Diego Craft Collective.

No experience necessary. All materials included. Ages 13+ years welcome!
