ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Hola Hola! I am Cristina Obeso, a Mexican-American artist, educator and mother, originally from Mexicali Baja California, Mexico and El Centro California.I have years of experience working with children of all ages, creating fun and engaging experiences that encourage creativity, curiosity, and self-expression. I am passionate about creating fun, meaningful learning experiences where children can explore their creativity, express themselves, and learn about culture through art. As someone who grew up surrounded by the vibrant colors, traditions, and artistic expression of Mexico, I love sharing that part of my heritage with others in a way that feels engaging, hands-on and authentic. I believe art gives everyone the freedom to experiment, make mistakes, discover their own ideas, and be proud of what they create. In my classes, my goal is to create a welcoming environment where everyone feels encouraged to create, explore and celebrate their creativity. I am excited to bring a little Mexican chispa, color and corazon into every class! Bienvenidos I can’t wait to create with you!
