SPECIAL FIBER FUN IN APRIL!
Crochet Club will be free to attendees in April who would like to come and crochet (or knit) and donate their pieces to our upcoming fiber installation. Read about our yarnbombing project here. Meet up weekly with other fiber friends in this crochet club!
Crochet club is a space for those who are completely new to crochet, to seasoned crocheters that would like help with a tricky pattern, or would just like to work alongside others. All are welcome! Crochet Club at SDCC is more than a space to crochet with others, but a space where you can get help and guidance with your project from Martina, who is an avid crocheter. So come with questions and patterns that you would like to try out!
Bring your own hook & yarn!
No experience necessary.
Ages 12+yrs welcome, or age 7+ with an adult.

This course may be held outdoors or indoors, depending on the weather, so we suggest:
• Dress in layers so you can adjust to the studio temperature.

• Bring water/beverage and a snack if you need to be comfortable.
• Wear comfortable clothes

DIRECTIONS: Located in Liberty Station’s Arts District, you can find our studio at the end of the hallway on the 1st floor of the Dorothea Laub Music & Arts Center (Bldg 176) at the corner of Roosevelt & Truxtun, next to The Lot movie theater. There is plenty of free parking. Parking Lot Q is behind our studio — enter via the driveway off Dewey. Across the street in the Vons parking lot, it is also free. If you can’t find us, call or text 619.273.3235.

CLASS SIZE: 3 min. If the minimum is not met, you will receive a full refund or credit toward another class.

REFUNDS: No refunds for tardiness or no-shows. For a refund (minus a 5% processing fee), you must cancel 7 days before the start of the class. After 7 days, we cannot offer refunds, as materials and supplies have already been purchased.

TRANSFERS: You may transfer your enrollment spot to someone else, but transfers must happen before the workshop begins. Please email us to let us know who’s coming.

CROCHET CLUB IS LED BY:

Martina Villanueva is an avid crafter, who took up crochet 5 years ago and fell in love with the craft. She has made everything from funky sweaters to crochet hats. She is a graduate from Clark University, MA and got her Bachelors in Studio Art, with a concentration in Fiber Arts, particularly crochet. Her favorite thing to make is crochet bucket hats!
In her free time she enjoys going to the beach, trying out various crafts (as of recently, book making), and spending time with her family and friends.
