Ignite your child’s creativity and develop essential life skills through our fun and engaging sewing program!

Designed for kids aged 9-12 years, this afterschool series offers a hands-on learning experience where young minds can explore the world of sewing. From basic stitches to exciting projects, our program fosters imagination, fine motor skills, and patience.

Whether your child is a budding fashion designer or simply enjoys crafting, this series provides a supportive environment to learn and grow.

All materials included. Projects are changed regularly, so students can return month after month to continue to develop their skills!

Drop-ins are welcome! Is your child curious about taking this class? Choose ‘Drop In Date’ from the drop-down menu (please purchase 48 hours in advance so we can have supplies ready) and tell us which date you’re child will come in the Notes section at checkout.

This class is typically held indoors, so we suggest:
• Bring water/beverage
• Wear comfortable clothes

DIRECTIONS: Located in Liberty Station’s Arts District, you can find our studio at the end of the hallway on the 1st floor of the Dorothea Laub Music & Arts Center (Bldg 176) at the corner of Roosevelt & Truxtun, next to The Lot movie theater. There is plenty of free parking. Parking Lot Q is behind our studio — enter via the driveway off Dewey. Across the street in the Vons parking lot, it is also free. If you can’t find us, call or text 619.273.3235.

CLASS SIZE: 3 min. If the minimum is not met, you will receive a full refund or credit toward another class.

REFUNDS: No refunds for tardiness or no-shows. For a refund (minus a 5% processing fee), you must cancel 7 days before the start of the class. After 7 days, we cannot offer refunds, as materials and supplies have already been purchased.

TRANSFERS: You may transfer your enrollment spot to someone else, but transfers must happen before the workshop begins. Please email us to let us know who’s coming.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic and Web Design, Christine Gilpin has channeled her creativity into garment construction. Her passion for creating and desire for personalized clothing led her to explore the skills of sewing. Her drive lies in making fashion both personal and sustainable. She enjoys bringing one’s wardrobe vision to life, stitch by stitch.
