Build an organic-ingredient Gingerbread House with us! This holiday season, let’s build, play, dream, & inspire. Be the architect of your own gingerbread house complete with colorful, organic candies and icing! Baked by a professional chef with organic ingredients, each attendee will take home a beautiful gingerbread house. This workshop is fun and interactive. Please dress in layers since we’ll be outdoors. We also recommend eating before you come so that you still have candy left to decorate with.

This workshop is for all ages, and for children age 8+, is intended for drop-off, but parents are welcome to stay. All materials included. Our gingerbread recipe contains gluten. All ingredients are organic.

Organic Gingerbread House Workshop

This workshop will be held outdoors, so we suggest:
• Dress in layers, bring a jacket, hat, apply sunscreen (if needed) so you can adjust to the weather.
• Bring water/beverage if you need to be comfortable.

DIRECTIONS: Located in Liberty Station’s Arts District, you can find our studio at the end of the hallway on the 1st floor of the Dorothea Laub Music & Arts Center (Bldg 176) at the corner of Roosevelt & Truxtun, next to The Lot movie theater. There is plenty of free parking. Parking Lot Q is behind our studio — enter via the driveway off Dewey. Across the street in the Vons parking lot, it is also free. If you can’t find us, call or text 619.273.3235.

CLASS SIZE: 3 min. If the minimum is not met, you will receive a full refund or credit toward another class.

REFUNDS: No refunds for tardiness or no-shows. For a refund (minus a 5% processing fee), you must cancel 7 days before the start of the class. After 7 days, we cannot offer refunds, as materials and supplies have already been purchased.

TRANSFERS: You may transfer your enrollment spot to someone else, but transfers must happen before the workshop begins. Please email us to let us know who’s coming.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

I am an experienced professional chef with a remarkable 11-year journey in the culinary world. My culinary foundation was established at the prestigious European Center in Curitiba, Brazil, where I studied in 2008. Simultaneously, I embarked on an exciting venture by opening my first restaurant, which soon earned one of Brazil’s most significant awards for its exceptional Brazilian Cuisine. After three successful years, I decided to explore new opportunities and joined the esteemed Durski, one of Brazil’s most renowned European restaurants. During my tenure there, our team garnered four national awards, solidifying my reputation as a top-tier chef. Beyond restaurant experiences, I have also honed my skills in creating menus for various occasions, including retreats, weddings, birthdays, and meetings. This versatility allows me to craft tailored culinary experiences that leave a lasting impression on every guest.
