About Our Educational Gardengarden at liberty station's san diego craft collective

In 2022 San Diego Craft Collective & Treehouse Academy saw an opportunity to transform an under-utilized plot of land outside our Liberty Station location into a living, learning lab! With thanks and appreciation to NTC Foundation for their generous support, the Educational Garden welcomes visitors to Liberty Station each day as they enter from Rosecrans & Roosevelt.

Flanked by a colorful, handmade art-fence crafted here at the Collective, our edible and pollinator garden is full of seasonal favorites that support learning for all ages. Managed by Mia Vaughnes, co-founder of Good Neighbor Gardens, our garden is a wonderful way to teach the community about how gardening in a small space can be quite abundant, while giving back green space to our planet.

Enjoy our monthly Family & Adult Organic Garden Workshop, weekly afterschool Kids Organic Gardening Club, or read on for more opportunities to get outdoors to enjoy hands-on, organic gardening and beyond!
