As an educational 501c3 nonprofit, we offer activities, workshops, scholarships, and fellowships centered around craft and creativity for individuals of all ages and backgrounds in a family-friendly, eco-conscious environment.


1 Part-time Week/Weekend Admin Position

San Diego Craft Collective is hiring for one part-time position on our admin team. The Craft Collective admin team works to support the workshops and classes hosted by San Diego Craft Collective.

This is a Thursday, Friday, Saturday shift.

This is a parttime position with a rate of $20 – $22/hour.

This position will require the following hours of availability:

Thursdays from 10am – 6:30pm, Fridays from 10am – 6:30pm, and Saturdays from 8am – 2pm. This schedule may vary depending on our workshop schedule. The position allows for one weekend off each month. It also has the benefit of a free workshop per month! Schedule is usually 20 – 22 hours each week.

Responsibilities and Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

Setup and clean up for workshops, events, and classes (this at times requires lifting large objects and up to 25lbs)

Assist in maintaining an organized and clean studio

Greeting guests, answering phones, responding to email

Provide customer service and help students of all ages

Assist workshop instructors during, before, and after workshops

Photo documentation of workshops and events

Assist in preparing materials for workshops, events, and craft kits

Skills required:

Kind, professional, friendly, and willing to help

Must be able to follow the lead of the team and the director

Working knowledge of cloud-based programs that include Word, Excel, and Google Calendars.

Comfortable in a fast-paced, all-inclusive, creative environment

Desired or helpful skills:

Knowledge and proficiency in digital fabrication (CNC & laser) & Aspire software

Graphic Design Skills

Grant Writing Skills

Quickbooks proficiency
